Took this literally a minute before the alarm sounded

Well since coming out here we had our first tornado alarm go off and got to see a pretty interesting storm.  I was just sitting home when Curtis called saying the town he was in just had their alarm go off and he was going to find a basement to hide in and told me to run over to our friend Laura's house since she lives in the basement.  I ran over quick and could see how our sunny day had turned into a dark nightmare.  After about 20 minutes Curtis called and said the storm had moved and they were on their way home.  They got home about five minutes before the alarm sounded in our own town and we took cover.  We were in our shelter for about a half hour and then stayed in the basement while the hail storm went away.  It was such a scary experience that I don't want to have to go through again!

It's been a whole week of selling out in Nebraska and Curtis is doing amazing!  He has sold the most this week in his group of like 10 guys and has already sold 16 this season!  This morning we invited all the guys over for some crepes so I could meet all of them.  It was a lot of fun especially when this really buff kid sat down on our chair and it completely broke underneath him and he fell to the ground!  We all had a good time before the guys go out for their longest day yet!!

Well I guess we have a permanent recliner now :)

WE FINALLY MADE IT TO NEBRASKA!!! After two days of driving separate cars we finally made it to our apartment in Hastings, NB!  It was quite the adventure to get here since it was snowing almost the whole way through Colorado and was terrible up in the Rockies!  We love Nebraska already.  It's so warm and green here and people are very friendly here.  Our apartment is way nice and we finally have a tv to watch that has cable for the first time since we got married.  Curtis is gone most of the day so I'm going to stay busy by getting crafty and helping the other married lady with her four kids.  It's going to be a fun summer for sure!!!

His very first day selling in NB!

After being married for almost two months we are still each other's best friend :) I hope we are able to stay this way for the rest of our lives.  Just the other day we were talking about when we retire getting a nice motorcycle with a buggie attached to the side for me to sit in.  I'll just sit there and enjoy the ride while I crochet.  We are so crazy together and crazy about each other.  Sure it has it's ups and downs, but the downs sure are worth the fun times we have just being together :)

So we had our first Easter together just last weekend.  We took a trip down to Zion with my family and hiked up to see Angels Landing.  It was such a long and terrible hike, but after about 3 1/2 hours of climbing we finally made it to the top and it was so worth it!  I sold my car this weekend and I was very sad to see it go.  We sold it so in the fall we can get a truck because we saw no reason to have two cars.  This week is finals which means we have been studying a lot to hopefully get good grades in our classes and once Thursday hits we are free for the summer!  In less than two weeks we will be on our way to Nebraska and we are very excited to see what is in store for us there!!  It has been a week of change since I dyed my hair brown for the first time on thursday and sold my car the next day.  I think change is good and we definitely have a lot of changing to get use to in the next few months!!!

Another week has flown by and all we've really been up to is going to school and trying to finish out the last few weeks before summer break!  Curtis went on a selling trip and sold his first alarm on Saturday :) we were both pretty excited!!  We have less than a month until we pack up and move out to Nebraska... don't worry we googled it and its only a 14 and a half hour drive to get there :( I'm thinking a nice stop somewhere in colorado for a night.  We are excited for the summer and can't wait to move out there and live outside of Utah for a few months :) Should be pretty exciting!

Wow today me and Curtis have been married for a whole month exactly!!!  To celebrate we dragged Kyson and Mindy out for some competitive bowling and guess who won :) we did!!  It was a fun night to celebrate our first month of marriage.
